These are registered companies with a general trading name. The advantage here is being issued with your company package for immediate trading. Bespoke Companies When selecting your new company name please contact us for a free name search and advice. Your new company name will be incorporated within 7-8 days. The advantage here is being able to use your specific required name to suit your activities. A same day service is available at extra cost. Company names When selecting a company name you need to be aware that the Registrar of Companies will refuse a name if it is identical to a company name already on the register or if it is offensive or misleading. Certain names require approval, which we can advise on. Directors and Secretary A private limited company must have at least one director and one company secretary. A sole director cannot also be the company secretary. If there is more than one director one of them can also be the company secretary. An individual or corporate body can act as director or company secretary. Shareholders A private limited company must have at least one shareholder. The issue of shares to the members represents the proportion of the company that each member owns. One member would need 75% of the shares to be in full control. Share Capital The authorised share capital is the amount of shares available within the company to be issued upon incorporation or at any time in the future. Our standard share capital is £1000 divided into 1000 shares of £1 each. You may require a higher than this which we will incorporate the new company with or increase the share capital of a readymade company. Registered Office Address Every company is required to maintain an official registered office address. This is the official address of the company and need not be your trading address.
