Minor changes are coming in December of 2015
There will be a simpler way, as yet unspecified, to remove falsely appointed directors from the company register. Upon incorporation there is now a ‘consent to act’ function which is a statement provided on the incorporation form (online or on paper) which states that each of the persons named as director or secretary have consented to act in that capacity. Disputes could be made if it could be proven that an appointed director did not, in fact, consent to act.
Registered office disputes
A new process will be provide for those occasions where a company is using an address as its registered office for which it never had authorisation to do so.
